Fractals amaze me so much. Just read your essay right after sitting in a tree, so these words like an extra dose of kinship. 🌲

Are you inside my brain?! I adore this. AND I just read about this eye-fractal-marvel this week & it’s been blowing my mind! We are made of smallness, rhythms rippling out toward each other & whew—meeting you under that same tree in my mind’s eye to just stare up in wonder.

Oh the synchronicity. It shouldn’t surprised and yet still does. Love you!

Oh, wow! I had no idea that there is a mathematical/scientific explanation for why I love to look at tree leaves and blades of grass. And I thought it was because I like the color green...thanks for reminding me to spend more time outdoors!

Thank you, Shannon!

You gave "reason" to what I feel. My favorite place on the planet? Walking through the ancient redwood forests of Northern California where trees that have lived and grown through 2,000 to 2500 years of storms and earthquakes whisper, "You've got this..."

Many people experience this visually on psychadelics 😊 it's a mathematically way to connect to the fabric of our universe. Absolutely insane and beautiful.

Love this! Have you read “The Hidden Life of Trees?” A friend recommended and I’m digging in. Love the way nature sings to us.
