Congratulations on the new book! I've pre-ordered a signed copy from Dog-Eared Books for my wife, who very much loves the mystic saints and has been recently enjoying Laura Swan's The Forgotten Desert Mothers. I'm also looking forward to reading Julia of Norwich's words on relating to God in the feminine, which is also my preferred approach but not one that's often understood or even accepted.

Relate well to your journey. Having outgrown humility as a child the way I outdrew my older cousins’ hand-me-down clothes, I barely glimpsed at the saints, me all decked out in my Peacock pride. “Why are they any better than the rest of us?” Then I read Dorothy Day, Francis of Assisi, Mother Teresa, Bernard of Clairvaux, Augustine. Why so many if skeptical? ‘Cause I couldn’t help it. The Way of Jesus in life’s sh*t is exactly what I crave. Indeed, your book is preordered! Can. Not. Wait.

Preordered awhile back…are you kidding?? You KNOW I can’t wait…and St Catherine of Avila? Someday I’ll tell you a story about her - and I’m sure (but just in case) Edwina Gately ….she has an amazing mystical story of her own encounter with Catherine…oh my, we’re on to something here. I love having REAL women with REAL voices - not the saccharin “moral pap” ( as Louisa May Alcott once complained since her editors wanted nothing to do with her Modrrn Metasopoles)(sp). Write on - and enjoy the graces!💕
