I might have to get a cousin to bring it over! Stinky shepherds will go down well here with my 9yr old. I’m taking my copy of The Mystics to Norwich next weekend as I walk in Julian’s footsteps, or just marvel at her life! Keep on keeping on x
Yes! This sharing of theology and the forming of the faith-imagination SO critical right now. And congrats on the publishing! NOT easy to be published in the Christian publishing sphere!
Congrats, Shannon! On the book and the high kindergartener praise! This boy mom, who is now in the "older children have given me nothing" stage, has a couple of younger nephews that will love this Bible. Thanks for keeping it real, and entertaining, in high quality religious content and your sharing of real life.
This is fantastic! We got Little People (as in, Fisher Price Little People) Story of Christmas as a gift, and while cute, I tend to change some of the words when reading it to my 20-month-old daughter. Mainly I change that Gabriel was asking, not telling. 🙄
Two brilliant girls ! ❤️❤️
#1 bedtime story request.
Knowing you were a contributor to this book made it very easy to join the Kickstarter 🙂
Have you gotten your copy yet?! I hope you love it!

Oh my gosh it's sooooo cool to think of The Mystics Would Like a Word being in Norwich! Send me a pic!
Sure will, and some other pics too if relevant!
Love it! Sounds like a wonderful book!
Oh my gosh, can't wait for this!! I'm sure my kids are going to love the part about the stinky shepherds.

This is kind feedback, thanks Cari!
Oh, goodness gracious that makes my heart oh-so-happy.
Oh this is very cool! So grateful for all the folks out there who are rethinking what we teach our kids about God and making new resources for it.
Yes and amen. So much more than what our parents had available to them!
That’s awesome! Congratulations! I wrote the one on Jairus’ daughter. It’s a good book, and I LOVE your review.
Ahh, I love that story. I'm so glad you popped in here!
UHG loved reading this. Also thank you for the parenting hack of leaving books around!!
Truly!
I have a child or two in mind! As an early childhood educator, and an Episcopalian, I appreciate people who are very careful about the stories...
I hope it passes muster!
